Aspen Snowmass is proud to host the Toyota U.S. Grand Prix – Olympic Selection Event, January 10-14, 2018. The weeklong competition will include 5 qualification events as part of the season tour. The event will take place in the award-winning terrain park and halfpipe of Snowmass Ski Area for the first time since 1998.
U.S. Snowboard Team and U.S. Freeski Team athletes will be competing to punch their tickets to the 2018 Winter Olympic Games in Pyeongchang, South Korea. Over 400 athletes from around the world will be competing for a spot to represent their country, in the penultimate US qualifier for both genders in ski and snowboard halfpipe and slopestyle.
The event is open to the public and spectators are encouraged to come out and check out the action at our mid-mountain venue near the Spider Sabich Picnic Palace. U.S. Ski & Snowboard, in partnership with NBC Universal, will once again present over 15 hours of coverage from all the Grand Prix events on NBC and NBC Sports Network. The event will also be live streamed globally over the web. A full TV schedule will be released fall 2017.
